Israeli Authors’ Novel ‘Pain’ Published in Azerbaijani
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) has released in an Azerbaijani translation Pain, a non-fiction novel by Israeli authors Amir and Arye Gut. The book on the 27th anniversary of Khojaly Massacre, translated with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, mirrors pain and suffering in Khojaly based on real events and documentary materials, shedding light on the fate of persons living there, as well as the indifference to this major injustice displayed by the world’s silence.
The facts given in the book are very valuable in terms of exposing the truth surrounding the historical crime to the international community.
The translator is Saday Budagly, a famous Azerbaijani novelist and translator.
Pain has been translated into many other languages.
