Kamal Abdulla’s Creativity on the Turkish Portals

Detayhaberler.com and Haber232.com, the popular Turkish portals, which highlight the best world literary samples, have posted on their literary pages the piece of work A Love Story by Kamal Abdulla, the People’s Writer of Azerbaijan, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World.” The work adapted in Turkish is preceded by the writer’s brief creative biography.

It is worth noting that the portals, followed by a wide auditorium of readers, regularly publish works by such famous writers and poets as Nizami Ganjavi, Yunus Emre, Edgar Allan Poe, Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, just to name a few.

  • his works have been translated into very many languages, and plays have been staged in various theatres;
  • was awarded the honourary titles Honoured Worker of Science (1999), and the People's Writer of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2019).
