Collection of stories  “Five Minutes and Eternity”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Elchin, the People’s Writer of Azerbaijan, has been published in Russia.

The book, released within the joint project of the State Translation Centre and the Russian Institute for Literary Translation, has been issued by the prominent Russian Rudomino Book Centre Publishing House.

The book includes famous short stories, such as  “The Rose Said to the Nightingale...”, “The Yellow Jacket”, “Train. Picasso. Latour. 1968.”, “Fivepenny Motorcycle”, “The Red Bear Cub”, “In Ten Years”, “Silver, Orange, Velvety”, “Baladadash’s First Love”, “Trains Leave This World”, “Five Minutes and Eternity.” The authors of the translations are I. Zolotussky, G. Mitin, A. Orlov, notable Russian translators, and the editor is Y. Fridshtein.
