The Book “Turkiye ‒ From Sultanate To Republic” Out
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre has published the book “Turkiye ‒ From Sultanate To Republic”, dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye.
The book includes such chapters, as “The Establishment of the Ottoman State”, “The Ideological Founders of the Ottoman State”, “The Sultans of the Ottoman State”, “The Establishment of the Republic of Turkiye”, “The Presidents of the Republic of Turkiye”, depicting the glorious history of the fraternal state, as well as information on the lives and activities of historical personalities who led the country at different periods of the Ottoman Empire and Republic of Turkiye, and extracts from the artistic and philosophical works by ancient Turkish sultans, their sayings and speeches.
The project leader of the edition is Afaq Masud, the People’s Writer of Azerbaijan, the compilers are Sanan Naghi, Nariman Abdulrahmanly, and the editor is Bahlul Abbasov.
