Modern Azerbaijani Anthology of Poetry Published in English

The Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AzTC) has published in English the next edition from its Books Series - Anthology of Poetry “Candles: 101 Verses”.

It is the Centre’s first project aimed to create the modern scenery of Azerbaijani poetry with its rich traditions, and to promote the book worldwide. The book comprises 101 poems by 55 Azerbaijani poets.

The book that includes poems by Rasul Rza, Bakhtiyar Vahabzade, Nigar Rafibeyli, Vagif Samadoghlu, Ali Karim, Mammad Araz, Musa Yagub, Sabir Rustamkhanly, Kamal Abdulla, Zalimkhan Yagub,  Ramiz Rovshan, Vagif Bayatly Oder, Isa Ismailzade, Alakbar Salahzade, Fikrat Goja, Nariman Hasanzade, Nusrat Kasamanli, Zakir Fakhri, Salam Sarvan, Chingiz Alioglu, Vagif Bahmanli, Ajdar Olun, Agshin Yenisey, Narmin Kamal and others will represent  Azerbaijani modern poetry at the London  International Book Fair.
