Adebiportal.kz, a frequently visited literature portal based in Kazakhstan, has posted verses by Mikayil Mushfig, including I Wish It Was That Garden Again, Our Eyes and My Heart Tells Me (in Russian translation). It is part of an initiative for the AzSTC-pioneered project - Azerbaijani Literature in a Virtual World - to promote national literature worldwide. And beyond that, the page provides detailed information on the author.
The translator is Vladimir Kafarov.
The ‘Adebiportal.kz’ portal, continually updated, regularly publishes samples of pieces by internationally renowned writers and poets, such as Alexander Blok, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, John Updike, Ethel Lilian Voynich, Virginia Woolf, Hermann Hesse and Knut Hamsun, to name a few.
