AzSTC New Release: The Orphan Sky by American Writer Born in Baku

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) has released the Azerbaijani version of Ella Leya’s novel The Orphan Sky.

Ella Leya, an American composer, singer and writer born in Baku, Azerbaijan. She moved to the United States in 1990.

The novel, translated by Javidan Aghayev, tells about a teen-age rising pianist who had a rough time in Soviet Azerbaijan.

Editors are Etimad Bashkechid and Salam Sarvan.
