The 163rd issue of the Turkish Journal “Language and Literature” has published an extensive article about the book “The Honourable Three Poetesses of Karabakh”, devoted to the life and activity of notable Azerbaijani poetesses born and raised in Shusha – Khan gizi Natavan, Fatma Khanum Kamina and Ashig Pari, within the framework of the “Year of the City of Shusha” declared in the country.
The author of the article entitled “Shusha and the Honourable Three Poetesses of Karabakh” is Professor Murat Ertash, an outstanding Turkish scientist.
It should be noted that the author of the beautifully designed book, reflecting the literary environment of the city of Shusha in the 19th century and telling about the milestones in the life of poetesses formed in this environment, who have left deep traces in classical Azerbaijani poetry, is Vilayat Guliyev, a prominent literary scholar, doctor of philological sciences, and the editor is Irada Musali.
