Why is Armenia Reluctant to Open Archives
The State Translation Center (TC) has prepared a video footage illustrating a statement by Turkey’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, which reveals the hypocritical character of Armenian policy. The video with subtitles in English, Russian, Istanbul Turkish, Persian, Arabic, Georgian, French, Ukrainian, Spanish and German languages questions why Armenian archives in Yerevan and several other cities around the world have to date remained closed to researchers, and only a few "politically safe" researchers can access them.
The Armenian power base across Europe and the United States is well aware that no "genocide" occurred in 1915, according to Akar. “If you open your archives, ‘a bomb’ will explode and there won't be a single stone of Armenian claims.”
