Azerbaijan State Translation Centre, National Writers Union of Georgia Sign MOU

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) and the National Writers Union of Georgia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The document is designed to promote and expand literary and cultural ties between the two countries; to translate and publish samples of classical and modern literature; to arrange book presentations, roundtables, and online conferences; to make publications accessible to a wider reading audience, as well as to ensure continuous major media coverage and a wide distribution in state and public libraries.
The MoU was signed by Board Chair of the AzSTC Afag Masud and Chair of the National Writers Union of Georgia Makvala Gonashvili.
