Nasimi’s Poetry Collection Launched in Kyiv (PHOTO, VIDEO)
The Summit-Kniga Publishing House hosted a presentation of the book I Have Set Myself on the Road of Truth (“І шляхом І стини постав я сам...”) in Ukrainian to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Azerbaijan’s great poet Imadaddin Nasimi. The event brought together notable Ukrainian literati, publishers, mass media representatives, and the public.
This collection, which introduced Ukrainian readers to Nasimi's gazelles for the first time made, a significant contribution to the promotion of Azerbaijan’s classical literature in Ukraine, said Ivan Stepurin, the director of the publishing house, in an exclusive interview with AzerTaj. He expressed hope for Summit-Kniga’s continued cooperation with the State Translation Centre.
