Well-known Ukrainian writer visits AzTC
The Azerbaijan Translation Centre (AzTC) on Wednesday received a visit from a delegation of Ukrainian writers and authors led by the head of Kiev Organization of the National Union of Ukraine’s Writers, Vladimir Danilenko.
The meeting focused on the close relationships between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the field of literature, the publication of the book Modern Azerbaijani Poetry in Ukraine in 2017 and of the book An Anthology of Ukrainian Literature in Azerbaijan, and the importance of these editions in promoting the rapprochement between both nations.
The guests, visiting Azerbaijan for the first time and enjoying the beauty of Baku, spoke about the friendly ties between the two countries.
In conclusion, they donated to the Centre the book with a glazed design St.Sophia of Kiev.
