AzTC hosts Certificate Award ceremony for 22 translators
The Azerbaijan Translation Centre (AzTC) on Friday hosted a Certificate Award ceremony for 22 translators who passed AzTC’s qualifying examinations in sociology and politics, oil and gas processing, science and technology, finance and economics, medicine, and other subject areas from 12 to 29 April 2018.
In his opening remarks, Vilayet Hajyyev, Chief Editor of the Translation Centre, said the qualifying examinations will be followed by accreditation of translators, a process for which will be launched in the near future.
“The certificate holders will be involved in the accreditation process as translators who successfully passed the first round of examinations. And AzTC would like to welcome more translators through qualifying examinations to be held through the end of the year,” he added.
Certificate holders expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to have passed the qualifying examinations of the Azerbaijan Translation Centre.
Later on, certificates were handed over to each holder.
