Nobel Prize Winner Patrick Modiano's Book in Azerbaijani

The Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers has published 'Selected works' by French novelist Patrick Modiano who has won the 2014 Nobel Prize for literature.
The novelist is the 15th French writer to win the prestigious award. Modiano is strongly associated with "la mode rétro", the historical turn in French culture as a whole. The subjects of Modiano's literary activities are memory and forgetfulness, personality and sense of guilt, self-consciousness process with a fidgety man. The French writer was announced as the winner of the 2014 award for work on Nazi occupation of France during the Second World War and "for the art of memory with which he has evoked the most ungraspable human destinies during uncovered the life-world of the occupation".
It is the largest collection of works by Patrick Modiano translated into Azerbaijani.
