AzSTC Announces 2021 Consecutive Interpretation Exams
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) is pleased to announce the next stage of consecutive interpretation exams with a view to improving the quality of language and translation and identifying interpreters that meet certain standards of the translation profession across the country.
The exams in sociology and politics will be offered in the English language. Candidates who obtain a passing mark will receive certification.
Applicants must email a copy of their ID and a copy of their updated CV to firstname.lastname@example.org or submit them in person to our office at 74 Alimardan Topchubashov Street, Nasimi District no later than Tuesday 30th September 2021.
Note: 1. Consecutive interpretation exams are fee-based.

Azerbaijani Poetry in Reputable Russian Literary Almanac
Russian’s reputable literary almanac 45Parallel.net has posted verses ‘My Inspiration’, ‘Like Fire, Like Water’ by People’s Poet Mammad Araz, and verses ‘Confession’, ‘As If the Sea Is also a Man’, ‘Light Came on My Way’ by another People’s Poet Aliagha Kurchayli in Russian translation, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in a Virtual World”.
