Argentinian Ambassador Visits AzTC
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentine Carlos Dante Riva to Azerbaijan and Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy Eduardo Cavallero visited the Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic (AzTC). The sides discussed the publication of the book “Contemporary Azerbaijani Poetry” (prose and poetry) being translated into Spanish in Argentine, its distribution among the country’s libraries and universities, in Spain, its publication across the South American countries, and the issues on arranging the presentation of the book at the International Book Fair 2018 in Buenos-Ayres.

“Spruechetante”, the popular German literature portal, has posted in German the verses “I'm in No Rush” and “Don't Give Up!” by Samad Vurgun, a notable Azerbaijani poet, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World.”
