Georgian-Based Website Shares a Short Story by Azerbaijani Author
As part of Azerbaijani Literature in a Virtual World, an Azerbaijan State Translation Centre project to promote national literature worldwide, Georgia’s proven online literary site arilimag.ge, launched in 2008, has posted Cell Phone, a short story by Dilsuz, one of Azerbaijan’s most read authors.
Samples of pieces in Georgian translation by internationally renowned authors, such as Gustave Flaubert, Thomas Eliot, Albert Camus, Iosif Brodsky, Mario Vargas Llosa, Zbigniew Herbert, Magda Novakovski and Sylvia Plath, are available to be read online by the broad masses.
The Georgian writer Malkhaz Kharbedia is chief editor of the site.
