“My Poetic Side” and “Rakkausrunot”, the popular English and Finnish literary portals, have posted in English the verses “The World!” and “Forget” by Samad Vurgun, the People’s Poet of Azerbaijan, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World.”

Alidicarta.it, a popular Italian literary portal, has posted in Italian the ghazal “Both worlds will fit into me, but I cannot fit into this world” by Imadaddin Nasimi, the outstanding poet of Azerbaijan, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World”.

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre has published a collection of selected poems “The One Thousand Second Night” by Makvala Gonashvili, the notable Georgian poetess, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Georgia.

“Enzyklopädie des Islam”, a popular literary portal of Germany, has posted in German the musaddas and ghazal by the great Azerbaijani poet Mahammad Fuzuli, as part of the AzSTC project “Mahammad Fuzuli - 530”.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Azerbaijan, Mr. Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran, visited the State Translation Centre the other day. 

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) is pleased to announce the next stage of translation qualifying exams with a view to improving the quality of language and translation, and identifying interpreters that meet certain standards of the translation profession across the country.
