The highlights of the issue include:

Mustafa Abdel Halim, the Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Sudan in Azerbaijan, visited the State Translation Centre the other day. 

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre has published a collection of poems  “The Lonely Centaur” dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of the notable Azerbaijani poet and author of books, such as “Colourful Shadows”, “Centaur”, “When Rivers Overflow”, “The Last Pray”, “Bathed in Sweat”

“Litprichal”, the popular Russian literature portal, has posted in Russian the verses “We Are Strangers” by Vagif Bayatly Oder, the notable Azerbaijani poet, as part of the AzSTC project “Azerbaijan Literature in an International Virtual World”. 

On February 1, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Azerbaijan Tobias Lorentzson visited the State Translation Centre. 

An Anthology of Swedish Prose, a new edition including the selected samples from Swedish Literature, which has rich literary traditions, has been published by the Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC).
