The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) is pleased to announce the publication of Tales About Nargiz and Nigar by the People's Writer of Azerbaijan, Huseyn Abbaszade.

Akhali saunje (“New Treasure”), a crowd-pleasing Georgian-language literary portal, has posted in Georgian translation the poem As the world fades, You emerge, God by Azerbaijan’s famous poet Vagif Bayatly Oder. It is part of the AzSTC - pioneered project - Azerbaijani Literature in a Virtual World - to promote national literature worldwide. The Kyiv National Linguistics University hosted a meeting with the notable Azerbaijani poet Salam Sarvan. The event shared the poet's work, in particular the book titled The World Is So Shallow to Drown in It (“І потонути неможливо, неглибокий цей світ”)

The National Museum of Literature of Ukraine (Національний музей літератури України) on July 8th hosted the launch of Leyli and Majnun, an epic love poem by Azerbaijan’s greatest poet Nizami Ganjavi, published by the Kyiv-based publishing house “Yaroslaviv Val” due to the announcement of 2021 as a “Year of Nizami Ganjavi” in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) and the Writers Union of Turkey signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Young poet Leyla Aliyeva’s book in Ukrainian titled Svit tane, yak son (The World Dissolves like a Dream) has been produced by Kyiv-based “Yaroslavov Val” Publishing House.
