Book Published to Celebrate Mehdi Huseynzade’s 100th Birthday Anniversary
The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre (AzSTC) has published a book to mark the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s heroic son Mehdi Huseynzade, who was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. The book called One for All or Mikhailo’s Revenge deals with the life of the hero who fought against German Nazis in World War II in guerrilla groups from former Yugoslavia and Italy. The author of the piece is the celebrated Slovenian prose writer Peter Amalietti.
The book is based on memoirs and documentary texts coming from the Slovenians who witnessed the heroic history of the brave partisan.
The author for the Azerbaijani translation is the noted translator Farhad Abdullayev.
