“Short Stories from Azerbaijan” published in London

The book titled “Short Stories from Azerbaijan” has been produced through Hertfordshire Press LTD in the UK. It is part of the Azerbaijan Translation Centre’s project to promote Azerbaijani literature worldwide. The edition tailored to provide a full picture of contemporary Azerbaijani literature includes a wealth of short stories by prominent Azerbaijani authors, such as Abdurrahim Bey Hagverdiyev, Ali Valiyev, Mir Jalal, Anvar Mammadkhanlı, Ismayıl Shıkhlı, Isa Huseynov, Sabir Ahmadli, Isi Melikzade, Yusif Samadoglu, Magsud Ibrahimbeyov, Anar, Vagif Nasib, Shahmar, Elchin, Movlud Suleymanlı, Sara Oğuz, Seyran Sakhavat, Mammad Oruj, Kamal Abdulla, Agil Abbas and others.

The editor for the collection is Anne Thompson, Writer, Translator and Editor. The author of the foreword is Elizabeth White, British Council Baku Office Director.
