Founded in 1989 Khazar is a literary magazine. The present publisher is the Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Issued four-annually, Khazar publishes work by both established and emerging contemporary authors from around the world, as well as their biographies, memoirs, diaries, interviews, etc. which are translated into Azerbaijani by highly qualified translators.
Editor in Chief is Afag Masud.
