AzTC to Publish Young Authors Anthology

The Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic (AzTC) is to publish an Anthology of Contemporary Literature which will include works of young writers and poets.

The editorial board on Monday held its first meeting to debate the collection, designed to identify young talents and promote their creative writings in Azerbaijan. The event was attended by AzTC Director Afag Masud, literary critics Vagif Yusifli, Asad Jahangir, Rustam Kamal, head of the Science, Education and Culture Department at AzTC Yashar Aliyev, as well as language specialists for literary texts Mahir Garayev and Etimad Muradov.

The meeting discussed the principles of compiling the anthology, as well as criteria to select works by young writers.

A complete agenda for this meeting will be published in the Aydın Yol newspaper as soon as it becomes available.
